Lucille Poete Wins Highest RHS Honors at Rittman
Lucille Poete earned first honors for four years of high school work at Rittman High School. Jane Ruckel and Robert White won second and third honors. The annual commencement is Friday May 25 at the high school auditorium with Rev. Robert S. Tuck delivering the class address. The program includes processional, invocations, solos, diploma presentations, and benediction. Also noted is the eighth grade commencement and certificates for about 55 graduates.

Farm Bureau Leaders To Speak At Wooster
Farm Bureau leaders James Moore and T A Taylor will address a Wooster meeting on May 29 as part of Memorial Day observances. The program supports new state tax legislation for schools and cooperative marketing, under the theme Our Strongest Defense Is Attack. The district includes four counties Wayne Ashland Medina and Summit and prizes await the county with the largest attendance based on mileage.
