Thacher Found Dead In Bed In Milton Township
Adam D Fetters a longtime No 6 school district teacher in Milton township near Congress was found dead in his bed at the Hilty home on Salt Street around eight Wednesday morning. Fetters likely died between five and eight due to heart disease with general debility. He had warned friends of declining health and had taught about thirty years, sometimes retiring then returning to teaching. His body was moved to Wooster for burial and the funeral will be held at his home near Congress.

The Rittman High School senior class play The Hoodoo drew a full house at the Rittman Opera House. Coaches Miss Swigart and Miss Lee guided a strong cast, with the Elm 9 Orchestra providing music. Proceeds from the performance were raised and will be used for a worthy purpose. Afterward, cast and crew shared a chicken dinner at The Evergreen Restaurant with teachers and organizers honored.

Convict Labor On Roads In Wayne County Ohio
Ohio will use 500 convicts from state prisons on road construction between Big Prairie and Shreve along the Three C road this summer.
