Tetanus Claims Victim in Rittman Dray Business Death
Levy proprietor of a Rittman dray and ice business died in Mt. Sinai hospital Cleveland Friday evening from tetanus after stepping on a nail. He arrived at the hospital early Friday morning and died as the disease progressed. he had come to America from Polish Russia and left a wife and several children in Europe. The body was interred in Cleveland. no relatives in Rittman. Levy had been in the United States about six years and planned to bring his daughters to America. The tragedy highlights the hardships faced by his family and the uncertain fate of relatives left abroad.
