The US Weather Bureau forecast for the week starting today predicts generally fair conditions with moderate temperatures across the Ohio Valley and Tennessee. Dry spells and no major storms are expected, offering stable early week to late week temperatures.
Mayor C W Hoover proclaims May 3 1915 as a day to honor mothers in Rittman Ohio calling on residents to wear a carnation and write letters to living mothers. The proclamation designates Sunday May Yth 1915 and urges remembrance of mothers and their sacrifices.
Tony Pueto was acquitted after an all day defense by Steve Miller in a liquor sale without license case. Rosa Seapur, sister of Tony, was arrested on the same charge and later found guilty as charged with a $300 fine and $385000 bond for appeal to the common pleas court.
