Anthony Marin was arrested for illegal voting at the last November election at the urging of Mayor Shackelford. He appeared before the mayor, was bound over to the grand jury, and taken to Wooster where an indictment was returned. He remains jailed awaiting common pleas court proceedings. Penalty for noncitizen voting ranges from one to six months.
