Sunday afternoon south of Mason a man threw from a motorcycle as it crashed into a culvert. The elder son, riding on the rear, died. the younger occupant was not seriously hurt. The driver fled town. Two Vaughn sisters aged 13 and 7 were struck by a train while walking on a right away near Orrville Sunday afternoon.
