Two Local Churches Join Radio Cast for One Great Hour
Members of two Rittman churches will hear a nationwide broadcast Saturday night from 10 to 11 PM described as one of radio history’s greatest programs. The Federal Council of Churches sponsors One Great Hour, supported by Milton Presbyterian and Evangelical United Brethren Churches, airing on 1 092 stations to raise over 10 million dollars for relief in Europe and Asia. A special offering is planned in cooperating churches Sunday morning.

Wooster Wins Junior Cage Title at Rittman Gym
Wooster Junior High won the Central Buckeye League basketball tournament at Rittman High Gym last Saturday defeating Millersburg 28 to 19. Wooster had earlier beaten the Rittman Juniors 29 to 11 while Millersburg defeated Loudonville 24 to 20.
