He married Gladys Russell of Salem in 1931, later moved to Rittman becoming a local representative for Prudential Life Insurance. The couple had son Robert Russell born February 22 1933. He was a charter Mason and active in local lodge organization, with hobbies of fishing and watching horse racing.

Funeral services were held at Oak Grove Mennonite church for Mrs Samir Alice Musser 63 wife of Jacob Musser who died March 8 after a month illness with pneumonia at her Route 5 home. Interment followed at Oak Grove cemetery. Survived by husband two sons Raymond F and Earl Musser a brother Joseph Crites a sister Mrs Lydia Stahl and several grandchildren.

J Riggenbaugh Dies At 76 In Sterling Area
John Riggenbaugh aged 76 died at his home southwest of Sterling after a four month illness due to dropsy. A farmer for 26 years he came from Monroe County and is survived by his wife Hila two sons George and William and a daughter Mrs Mary Widmer. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 PM at the Apostolic Christian church with AL Short in charge and burial in the church cemetery.

A welfare committee was formed, and bids for a new street tractor are still being collected.
