Girl Scouts celebrate six decades from 1912 in Savannah with Juliette Gordon Low, noting 32 million members. Sixth grade students under Mrs Holt Mr Thompson and Mr Tomlinson completed a four week mini course in first aid. They learned to respond to cuts fractures burns electrical shocks and other injuries with workbook guided lessons and in class drills. Student groups acted out scenarios were graded on emergency responses and the top team earned a first place ribbon. Two former students have already used their first aid training.
