Communion services at the United Brethren church opened revival meetings to continue until Easter. Rev E L Ortt spoke on The Secrets of Success of the Early Church and the evening topic was The Growth of the Church.
J J Tilson bought Beery and Kunkler service station and runs Tilson's Tire Shop He attends Firestone Rubber Company courses in Akron to learn vulcanizing tires and repairing tubes He aims to offer expert tire service to the community His opening was announced on another page of this paper.
Alphus Goffinet, manager of the Goffingt Theatre, travels to Cleveland after a Chicago telegram allowing bookings from all producers for his movie phone. Mrs Burchem appeared before Judge Saunders in Wooster on Monday and pleaded not guilty to contributing to the delinquency of minors. Her hearing is set for April 6 at ten. Her daughter Ema Burchem pleaded guilty to a minor charge and was sentenced to an indefinite period at the Delaware Girls' Home, currently confined in Wooster jail with flu.

The 1920s Florida Real Estate Room comedy features a large cast led by Misa Leah Hart. Hiram Hartridge, Mrs Hartridge, Archibald Stockwell and Billy Aldrich headline a humorous plot with love interests and hypnotist Dr Sayo. performances Thursday evening April fourth at the high school auditorium. Tickets on sale at Thomas' Drug Store after March 27.
Mrs Lucy Long, 78, long time resident of Rittman, died at her Silver Creek home Wednesday after a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of Jacob Fritz and Susan Fritz, and sister to Mary Dennis and Dora Cox. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the home at 2 o'clock with interment at Wadeworth Cemetery.
Rittman athletes dominate the first and second all Wayne County selections. Hostotler tops the list as a standout guard and captain, with Yarman and Reynolds also earning spots. Don Brodbock is named right guard and captain of the second team, while Jerry Doyer and Skeet Schwarts receive honorable mention.

The blaze at the Fisher allotment in the North end was quickly extinguished after the truck arrived.
