Farmer leader Homer D Wade argues that roads determine community progress and economic vitality. He asserts farmers value good roads, cites school access and civic efficiency, and links highway quality to social happiness and business prosperity.
The Knupps Cemetery Association in Rittman Ohio seeks member dues and donations to fund summer upkeep of the cemetery. Members and non members are urged to send fifty cents for first year dues and additional contributions to support annual maintenance before the April 3 meeting.
The report claimed H Sigler would apply for a saloon license in Rittman. he denies being an applicant and questions the origin of the notice. Moore of Akron serves as deputy state organizer for the order of Reindeer a fraternal group focused on social and moral uplift. The order, incorporated under Ohio law, provides benefits to members in sickness or distress and operates as a fraternal society rather than an insurance company. The speaker praises Mr. Moore as a pleasant person and suggests Rittman could support a similar fraternal order.
The A W C T U will host a silver medal contest Thursday evening March 11 at the opera house. Miss Elizabeth Tibbit of Medina coaches the class and a strong program is promised.
