Rittman Lad Plays For Co Teachers Institute

Tony Cordas will play a violin selection at the afternoon session of the Teachers Institute at Wooster high school auditorium Saturday. Sewing for Relief: Local Women Produce Clothes

About fifty women spun 114 sewing hours turning out clothing for the township relief effort in Rittman. Volunteers from the Apos tolical church and local United Brethren and Presbyterian groups worked with Red Cross donations to supply garments for Milton township and the village. The mayor, Hanes, expects more days of sewing and a quick finish if ensuing shifts match Wednesday’s effort.

Rittman Beats Young Men In Tri County Meet

In a regional basketball first round at Wooster Rittman defeated the Young Men 41 to 30 to advance to the semi finals. McAnallen and guards limited Sullivan while Boyce Adams and Hoover fueled Rittman’s eleven point margin. Doylestown earlier beat Seville 31 to 25 to reach the semis.

Three Day Old Blythe Madison Succumbs in Wadsworth

The three day old Blythe Madison, daughter of Mr and Mrs G Madison, died Monday morning at Wadsworth hospital. Mrs. Bates 83 Dies at Home in Ak tr on

Mrs George Bates aged 83 died Tuesday afternoon at her home in Ak tron. She survived by son Corre Jr. and was a former resident of Seville. Funeral services were held Thursday at 2 PM at Armstrong Funeral Home in Seattle with Rev Henderson in charge.
