Last Tuesday evening the Parent Teachers Association met in the school auditorium with a good turnout. Mrs H E Heirs who asked to resign as president was relieved of duties and Mrs W M Shackle ford was chosen to fill the unexpired term. School board member H F Longenecker spoke on dress styles and conservative views, noting town sympathy.
Farmers ranchers herders and other food producers must compute net and gross income for 1921 and determine whether an income tax return or a tax is due. Include all gains from farm product sales and exchanges for groceries clothing or merchandise use Form 1040F to record livestock and produce sales. Individuals file thresholds with marital status and residence conditions.
Representatives from Wayne county churches meet at the MFE church in Wooster on March 13 to review the War church survey results. Rev. B Lamb will present the report and outline a county federation plan, with a focus on informal discussion and a cooperative program for improvements.

A. Sheets deeded his farm to L. J. Myers who currently lives near Smithville. Myers is a relative stranger to locals but is welcomed to the community. Sheets plans to move to Wadsworth by early April and Myers will take the property, price not disclosed but rumored to be substantial for a fine local farm.
John Eldridge of the Erie switching crew from Creston slipped near a switch engine. wheels ran over his foot. He received aid in Creston and was moved to Kinney and Knestrick hospital in Wooster where two toes were amputated. His Rittman friends note his hopeful recovery.
In Friday action Ritman boys pull ahead 30 to 21 over Lodi in a hard fought game. Ritman girls fall to Lodi 5 to 4 as Sheeta shines with 27 of 33 Ritman points.
The Rittman Orchards Co orders 138000 trees and aims to begin planting around April first. Superintendent Hickin leads the effort, with farm cleanup underway. Logos and materials are moved to Shook Lumber Co as brush is cleared and preparations continue.

Mr. D J Clarke becomes the Erie agent replacing L V Yoder who moved to Barberton. Clarke, from Pomona, has Ashland as home and will relocate here soon to secure a house. The community welcomes him and wishes him success in the new post.
A large crowd attended Monday night as eight candidates received the third degree. Seville team aided by Fork members performed the ritual efficiently. The lodge thanked neighboring towns for support and a substantial lunch followed. Next regular meeting is Monday night.
After March ter 1923 customers must have the electrician who wires their dwelling or store install enclosed type entrance switches free stocks and service pipe before applying for connection. Thompson, who lives north of town, is not improving. He remains confined to his home and cannot leave. Taken to Cleveland hospital early winter, he has not been well since a Cleveland visit and stays under family care with doubtful prospects for recovery.
