Wadsworth and Rittman officials formed the Wadsworth Fireman Airmans Association to build a private airport between the cities. A five year lease was approved for $1, land near Route 94, with a plan for a 150 foot wide by 3300 plus foot long strip. Council approved rye grass seed donation and up to $500 in cash as Rittman’s share, with operation expected to be self supporting.

Rittman High School class of 1952 held its second annual reunion with a day in Cleveland Metropolitan Park Hinckley Ohio. About 30 attended enjoying a basket dinner swimming softball and games.
