Mrs Rizor’s Father Joseph Koeth Dies in Cleveland
Joseph Koeth age 76 died Saturday morning after months of illness in Cleveland. Funeral services were held Tuesday at St Peter's Catholic church with burial at Calvary cemetery. Survived by Mrs Rizor, a son John, daughter Mrs Flor Holzhiemer, a brother Henry, a sister Mrs Simon Fadlenstelfi, twelve grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Caroline a brother Michael and two grandchildren. He had often visited the Rizor home and was well known in Rittman residents.

Record Number Fishing Licenses Granted By Conservation Division
Columbus Ohio fishing season opens June 16 as the Conservation Division reports record license sales. Licenses issued this year nearly double 1937 with daily totals reaching 10,000 at peak and up to 2009 on a single day previously. Non residents pay 1.10 for ten day licenses while residents pay 3.25 for the season.

Farm Worker Killed Near Marshallville In Wayne County
The crash near Marshallville Saturday night killed Theken Patton a 48 year old farm hand from Mansfield. Car driver Gerald Pattab of Haver, Kentucky confessed after a patrol traced the vehicle to Patton. Prosecutors say Patton had no license plates or driver's license. Funeral services were held Wednesday at St Mary’s Church Massillon with Hertzer funeral home arranging.
