Five Hurt In Collision On C and N Ry Near Medina
Five men were injured in a two car collision on the C and N Ry near Medina last Thursday when a work car and a milk car collided. George Clevidence of Seville sustained a broken leg. others were from Berea. None fatally hurt. Cloyd Derhammer, formerly at Rittman, now a druggist in Wadsworth, recently wed Ada M. Daniels of LeRoy. Emma Blatter and Harry Liechty completed a motor trip through Indiana Michigan and Illinois covering 1082 miles. In Indiana they attended Goshen College commencement. Gertrude M Hickin of Lakewood arrived to spend summer with her father Dr. F. W. Hickin. We handle both Columbia and Victor records.

Salvation Army fund drive raises Wayne County pledges
Jacob Fredrick George J Schwartz W Odenkirk and WW Killer of Wooster toured Rittman last Thursday for the Salvation Army drive in Wayne County. They expected at least 300 dollars locally with a possibility of 500. In Sterling they secured 800 dollars and in Creston 250 was pledged. The visitors canvassed every county town and received assurances of substantial subscriptions.

Wayne County Common Pleas Court orders a partition sale of 0 acres in Milton township south of Sterling. Elizabeth Waggoner and Earl Kissinger inherited the land from Waggoner’s deceased husband, Kissinger’s uncle, with both living there. Mrs. Waggoner’s undivided one half is to be sold on July 10, appraised at $8000.
