Manager Woulfe of the C. S. W. and G. Ry. Co. bonded $1000 to guarantee completion of the lighting system by September 15 1914. About 54 miles of copper wire weighing over 30000 pounds are in shipment. The contract promises 100 candle power lamps, free current for a slogan sign, free current for Chautauqua lighting, and house wires installed with ten months for payments.

County Board of Education Elects Five Members
Under the new school law the presidents of the boards of education met Saturday and elected a county board of education of five members with terms of five, four, three, two and one year. Names: J. H. Dickason Wooster five years, D. W. McConnell Rittman four years, Geo. D. Barnard Congress township three years, C. A. Kline Clinton township two years, E. E. Clark Orrville one year. Chairman Dickason announced the first meeting for July 18 to organize the new board.

Obituary of Mrs Anna Kreider at old homestead
Mrs Anna Kreider, aged 89 years 8 months 25 days, died June 10 1914 at the Medina County farm. Born September 25 1824 in Mt Bethel Pa she moved with her father to Medina Co at age 13. She married Jacob Kreider December 2 1841 and lived in Shinersburg now Rittman before settling on the old homestead for 55 years. Survived by seven sons and four daughters, thirty grandchildren and twenty two great grandchildren. Funeral at Bethel Church followed by burial in the hillside cemetery.
