In Amwell Recreation games, Sterling Recreation beat Amwell Wonders 16-8 behind J McFrederick on the mound and R. Eby’s homer, while Dave Brockett sparked the winners with four hits. Amwell collected nine hits. losses saw Fred Stoller on the mound for Sterling, Ash Hall winning, and Gene Beery with two hits for Amwell. In a separate K of P vs Rupps showdown, K of P edged Rupps 10-8 after a see-saw nine innings, with Dick Britton doubling for the tying runs and Skip Johnson delivering the decisive single. Rupps finished with 10 hits but nine errors. K of P had 11 hits and three errors.
