King’s home is between here and Sterling, and Conley intends to teach in Cleveland next semester.
Rev B S Hendrickson and Mr and Mrs H Clippinger attended a Cleveland Presbytery meeting on Tuesday. Clippinger was a delegate to the Presbyterian General Assembly in St Paul Minn. His report was educational. En route home they suffered axle failure on Ray Head Tickson’s ante and a flat tire at Sharon Center, with no further trouble reported.
A local Christian Endeavor meeting at the Sterling community church brought together society members to discuss the Hodig of Mrs Alice Steiner last. The event showcased community faith and fellowship in a small town setting.

The Fixler reunion was hosted by Prof. and Mrs. Bernard Hanan at Rocky River on Saturday. Attendees from Rittman included Fred Snyder and family, Charles Snyder and wife, R. D. Snyder and family, William Fixler and son Zari, Amanda Fixler, Otto Boyer and spouses, and E. C. Schumacher with children.
Miss Esther Spade hosted a Saturday evening gathering for forty two friends starting at eight o'clock. The event centered on card games and other amusements, with playful table decor including a pillow bat prop.
Plans completed for the annual Rittman community event to be held Saturday July 20 at Geauga Park about 46 miles away. Sponsored by the Rittman Team Auto Guild with multiple city clubs assisting. Bus service by Ohio Transportation Co will keep costs low. Amusements include free dancing and attractions as the city unites as one big Rittman family. More details to follow in The Press.
At a noonday Rotary Club luncheon the president gave a detailed account of the Dallas convention, prompting the consensus that the report was good. Verne acted as the club's delegate, with visitors Moffat from Mont Interpreter schools in Ohio and Willard Critz in attendance.
Corporal Harold Beck returns to Ohio after years with the U S Army. He arrived in Cleveland and traveled to Rittman for a reunion planned Sunday at River Styx. Beck served in the signal corps and was stationed at Fort Amador Panama.
Lula Grace Turner Algler born September 9 1895 in Wayne Town Tuscarawas County Ohio died June 1999 aged 29 years 9 months and 27 days. She moved with her parents to Wayne County Ohio in 1992 and married Walter Sigler May 6 1928. They had two children Evelyn and James Calvin. Survived by parents James and Lula Turner siblings Charles Frank Lester W W Schwartz Ernest Wald Joseph McElwee R W Blough L L Hummel Randall Gorby and many friends. The family prays for God’s comfort and reunion in the hereafter.
