Guernsey Sale Breaks Records At Wayne County Fair
Guernsey cattle men of Ohio held their 39th consignment sale at the Wayne County fair grounds selling 37 animals for 14,135 dollars, an average of 382 dollars per cow. Top bid went to Lady Buttercup's Penitent, bought for 1,000 dollars by Biery Guernsey Farm, Franklin, Pa. Consigned by Mrs. Luther Layman, Gambier, Ohio, Penitent yielded 9,599.5 pounds milk and 5177 pounds fat in two milkings daily.

Mail Train Schedule Restored To Early Morning

Severe flooding hit the town over the Memorial Day weekend with high water from the big and little Chippewa creeks flooding 7000 acres of bottom land in Milton and Chippewa townships.
