Vacation Bible School Starts Monday In Rittman
The cooperating churches of Rittman announce a Daily Vacation Church School from June 6 to July 1 held at the grade school on North Main Street. Classes cover Bible lessons memory work and worship with teachers from four churches directing age groups 5 to 16. Registrations begin Monday morning with transportation help available from Dean Mrs. C. J. McGee.

Fire Damages Home Furnishings in Salt, Seven Dollars Loss
A fire in a Salt home caused damage to furniture with estimated value around seven dollars. Everett Saft and Everett Winki led the response with 16 volunteer firefighters and Rittman fire truck arriving at 7 am. The blaze was tended by the local fire department with no injuries reported.
