Forty Are Fine In Mayor's Court For Speeding And Stop Violations
Forty offenders were processed in mayor's court this week after a police drive against speeding and stop sign violations. Stop sign violators paid $5 fines with costs suspended, including Dean Lucas and 22 others. Mrs. Alice Lance Dies in Wooster at 69
Mrs. Alice Lance age 69 died Thursday at Community Hospital Wooster after a lingering illness. She lived in North Lawrence for 17 years and previously lived in Sterling and Doylestown. Survived by five daughters and three sons, two sisters, one brother, 35 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral at Gillman Funeral Home Sunday 2:00 p.m. Burial in Rittman Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday evening.

Bingo Party Planned To Aid Parsons Fund
Wadsworth Veterans of Foreign Wars will sponsor a benefit bingo party Thursday August 10 at 8 p.m. at the Kolony to raise money toward the Margaret Parsons fund. Proceeds go to aid Mrs. Parsons and her five children left fatherless by an Erie R crossing accident on April 2. The fund will finish a new home foundation begun after the father was killed.
