Senator Vandenberg urges changes to the Wagner Act to strengthen protections for both public and private sector workers and to promote industrial peace and prosperity for all. The proposals aim to balance union and nonunion interests, extending safeguards to the public and workers alike.

Hart family headed by E O Hart with daughters Blanche and Ruth begins a six month journey covering thousands of miles. They plan stops from Ohio to Mexico to California including Dallas Pan American Exposition and visits to relatives in Ranger Texas and Sand Point Idaho. They will see Cheyenne rodeo Yellowstone Zion Grand Canyon Salt Lake City and return through Iowa and Minnesota. Hart is a history teacher at Rittman High School.
