Creston basketball hosts Rittman in the last home game of the season on Saturday February 2 at 7 30 p m The girls under Coach Jeandrevin lead the county with nine wins and no defeats The boys coached by Mr Himes have won seven of nine games Fans are urged to attend and cheer the Brown and Gold to victory.

Elmer McEwen 62 of Rittman died Sunday at Kinney and Smith Hospital Wooster after severe head and back injuries from an automobile collision. He lived in Hull Block 14 or 15 years and died a secluded life. Funeral held Thursday at Ebert's Funeral Parlors with Rev. Hendrickson. burial in Knupp's Cemetery. Survived by sister Mrs J H Hider of Madisonburg and brothers Charles Creston Warren Minneapolis Henry Canada. He was unmarried.
