Members will work for the June Atlantic City trip and plans were made for a Feb 15 card party with euchre prizes and a door prize. Doors open 7:30 with 8 o clock start. the public is invited.

Ohio Companies Host Card Party in Assembly Room

The attics force of the Ohio Salt and Ohio Hoxboards two companies held a card party in the Boxboard's new assembly room Tuesday evening. Twenty five tables were in use with ladies and gents prizes awarded for each section. High scores won by Miss Alice Hier, Harold Trakewood, Harry Hirs, and Irving Gannet. Cream and small cakes were served, followed by dancing with George Crites on the piano.

Elmer McEwen Dies After Auto Accident in Wooster

Elmer McEwen 62 of Rittman died Sunday at Kinney and Smith Hospital Wooster after severe head and back injuries from an automobile collision. He lived in Hull Block 14 or 15 years and died a secluded life. Funeral held Thursday at Ebert's Funeral Parlors with Rev. Hendrickson. burial in Knupp's Cemetery. Survived by sister Mrs J H Hider of Madisonburg and brothers Charles Creston Warren Minneapolis Henry Canada. He was unmarried.
