Community Basketball: Firemen Beat Snyder Drugs 32 to 13

In two loosely played Tuesday games the Firemen defeated Snyder Drugs 32 to 13 while United Cigars beat Boxboard 48 to 26. Firemen Drugs was closer if Boxboard had made four baskets. Sheets scored 20 for United Cigars. Next week Firemen and United Cigars meet, then Boxboard and Snyder Drugs. Games start at 7:30 and 8:30.

May Change Plans at Apple Creek

Columbus Ohio February 5 changes may occur in plans for buildings at Apple Creek Wayne County where a new institution for feeble minded is to be erected. It is decided the administration building will not be erected now but contracts will be awarded for the cottages as soon as possible. Director Griswold will decide on any further changes after visiting the site.

While playing Thursday morning at the home of Mr and Mrs R W McNary a Hite daughter bit on a pencil held in her mouth the pencil punctured the roof of her mouth and Dr Snyder was called for help
