Soldier Omar Spencer Killed in Action in France
Pvt. Omar Spencer died in France about one month after leaving the United States for service with the infantry. He would have turned 25 in two weeks. He leaves a widow and three children Dorothy Freddie and John. He worked at Logan's meat market Huntington West Virginia before joining the war effort. He had seven months training at Camp Fannin Texas.
