The village seeks a 15 000 operating budget for 1936 while the school district expects a mill rate of 11.8, up from 9.20, with 2 mills for township 3 for county and 6.8 for village schools. One mill funds a grandstand at the Wooster fairgrounds and the rest covers two new teachers and two more classrooms.

The Waterloo Wonders will showcase the Olsea Te high school basketball squad in Rittman Tuesday night. Bud's Billiards secured the booking after learning Thursday morning a game could be arranged. A preliminary game starts at 5:30 at the high school gym.

H. G. Kerr, 63, father of Harvey Kerr of Rittman, died Saturday in Coshocton City hospital after surgery Friday. He lived at Holmes County infirmary. Funeral services were held in Millersburg, with burial in Clark Cemetery.
The mother of Miss Mildred Eikenberry a primary building teacher died Sunday at her Marian Indiana home. Services were held Tuesday. Eikenberry was reportedly called home last week. Her mother had been ill for some time.
Funeral services for the late Rev J G Black were attended in Wooster Tuesday by Mr and Mrs G H Clippinger and Mrs M R Ritter. Black was well known in Hittman for his services to the Milton Presbyterian church. He was once head of the geology department at the College of Wooster.
Mr and Mrs 2. E. Shook welcomed an eight pound girl Thursday afternoon at 5 34 near Rittman in Ohio.
Everett Winkler, employed at BD & W O11 Go, named new chief of Rith man’s semi voluntary fire department. Mayor J B Gatehouse and city solicitor Dean Wotmer influenced staffing. council passed a dance hall ordinance first reading with a 20 minute recess and no public discussion. The measure grants the mayor sole discretion to issue permits with a $1 fee and limits patrons to 18. salary involved is $300.
Rittman High welcomes Wooster for the first time this season on Friday night and Dalton on Saturday. Wooster, improving after a slow start, nearly toppled Coshocton last week but lost in the fourth quarter. Dalton presents a 6 ft 3 in center and players Goudy and Slusserm, while Bud's Billards runs the prelim Saturday night.
