Funeral services for Charles I Holland aged 20 were held at 2:30 PM at the U B Church in Sterling after his car was struck by a B and O train No nine. The railroad watchman could not explain why the victim did not see the oncoming train. Holland planned to report for work at 2:30 PM at The Ohio Boxboard in Rittman after a period of uncertain employment. He left a wife and three daughters Grace Dorothy and Mabel. Interment was in Crown Hill cemetery.

Baldwin Called To Carthage Missouri After Mother's Death
J. W. Baldwin received a telegram Monday stating his mother was very ill. He left Monday evening for Carthage Missouri but did not reach in time to see her alive. She died Tuesday evening at 71 from pneumonia. Funeral services were held this afternoon.

Fisher Takes Over Loan Agency at Orrville

Fifty-Third Annual Church Night Held by Presbyterians
The Milton Presbyterian Church held its Fifty-Third Annual Church Night with a 6 p.m. supper and a two hour business session. Reports from organizations were given, finances shown solid despite past difficulties, audits appointed for 1992, and trustees and officers reelected or confirmed.
