Rittman Students Shine in Wayne County Scholarship Exam
Walter Mose ranked among the top ten in senior scholarship exams held at Wooster for 154 Wayne County students. Husband Jailed On Kill Intent
Roy Porter nineteen bound over to county grand jury and jailed on a charge of intent to kill his wife Betty Porter after allegedly firing three shots from a high powered rifle at the rear of the car carrying Betty and three others near James Mowery’s home. Rittman Firm Wins Kent State Printing Contract
Rittman Publishing Co. of Rittman has been awarded the Kent State University printing contract for 5,506 copies of the 72 page Summer Catalogue. The bid was the lowest in a competition including major Akron and Cleveland printers. It marks Rittman’s first Kent State bid. The catalogue will use 60 lb eggshell paper with a goldenrod Port Huron Leatherette cover.

Mrs. Ralph Overholt of the Wayne County Tuberculosis and Health Association announced a two day X ray drive on March 14 and 15 to screen residents in the Rittman area.
