Firefighters battled a blaze Wednesday night at a Second street house rented by D. M. Markin and owned by Frank B. Geyer Wooster. Most furniture burned and the structure was heavily damaged with at least 600 dollars needed for repairs. A davenport and a rug were saved. The fire is believed to have started near a highly heated furnace.
