Mrs Marie Ritter 55 wife of William J Ritter died Friday at 1 30 am after nine weeks illness. Requiem Mass Monday 9 am at St Ann's Church conducted by Reverend Father Farrell. Survived by husband three sons Raymond Akron Melvin Glenn Rittman one brother Edward Jussell Akron three grandchildren including Dale at home. Applications may be obtained from the War or Navy Departments or the Veterans Administration or Otto Lehman in Wooster Ohio. Applications must be filed with the proper Secretary of War or Navy, personally by the veteran unless incapacitated. If the credit is 50 or less, payment is made immediately. over 60 yields an adjusted service certificate. If the veteran died before filing, credit goes to dependents in the order widow then children then father. A widow who remarries loses entitlement.

Auto Crash Claims Life Near Rittman After Basketball Game
A fatal two car crash near Rittman late Friday night left one young man dead and three others injured. Wadeworth residents Donald Houston Merle Kloaniger and James Hostettler were uninjured, while Dick Mualler and Loman Miller were treated and released. The other vehicle was driven by Comat Miers. the Wadeworth car, owned by Donald Houston, overturned after failing to brake as it collided.
