Minor arrests and court actions noted this week
Three youths were arrested for property theft and vandalism and the cases placed before Juvenile Court with probation and restitution orders. Three young girls were jailed on vandalism charges at Viddle School, with probation. Bowling league results show Norma Lamson high series 336 and others names with scores. Charles Y Trent 73 of 142 Wright St died Tuesday morning at Wadsworth Rittman Hospital after a long illness He was born February 27 1898 at Ft Gay WV to Melvin and Mary Jane Trent and moved to Rittman 55 years ago He was a steam fitter for Local 219 in Akron before retiring in 1957 He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Wadsworth He and his wife Beatrice would have observed their 55th anniversary today He leaves a son Charles Ed a daughter Mrs Jean Bowman a brother Roy five grandchildren and two great grandchildren Services Thursday at 2 pm at Illman Funeral Home burial in Rittman Cemetery Rev Edwin W Dunn of the First Wesleyan Church will officiate Friends may call Wednesday 7 to 9 pm at the funeral home.
