John L. Bauman Dies After Heart Attack Near Home
John L Bauman 80 of Sterling RD 1 died Friday evening reportedly from a heart attack while walking near his home He was born June 27 1892 in Milton Two to Gottfried and Phoebe Bauman a Sterling area lifelong resident A retired farmer and World War I Army veteran he was a 55 year member of the Apostolic Christian Church He was predeceased by his wife Minnie in 1966 He leaves a daughter Mabel three brothers Noah Ben Joseph and a sister Martha Beery Services were held Monday at the Apostolic Christian Church with burial in the church cemetery
