Rev C Z Yoder Dies Aged 98 In Ohio Mennonite Leader
Funeral services were held Tuesday for Rev C Z Yoder, a longtime Oak Grove Mennonite churchman from Smithville Ohio who died Saturday night of a heart attack at his son J S Yoder’s home. He led a 6000 voice congregation at Allentown Pa last August and had 70 years at his Wayne county home. He is survived by seven sons and had a wife who died in 1922 and a daughter who died in 1933.

Man Killed by Eastbound Train Near Rittman
Charles Shaffer 45 of Doylestown died after an Erie Railroad collision east of Rittman on Wednesday afternoon. He was taken to Schoenfeld Hospital, where he died at 6 PM. Shaffer, a World War veteran, lived in Beetown area with wife Ruth and three sons, plus siblings and mother.
