Mrs. Jay Rohrer of Seville and Mr. and Mrs. J. Rohrer of West Ohio traveled Tuesday to Alexandria Louisiana to visit their husband and son 2nd Lt Rohrer stationed at Alexandria Air Base. He expects to stay three to four months for the final phase of training. Mrs Rohrer will remain with him while his parents return after a short visit.

Local Family Moves to Sterling Avenue Property
The Ben Cassidy family moved last week into the Sterling Avenue property known as the Harry Brenneman place. Pfc and Mrs Ray Yochheim and son Patrick were Sunday breakfast guests at the Charles Trent home. Dr C C Gregg and Mrs Gregg left for Columbus where Dr Gregg will enter White Cross Hospital for observation and possible treatment. If Dr Gregg stays long, Mrs Gregg will return home. S/Sgt and Mrs Fred L Miller of Camp Stewart Ga will arrive Thursday to spend the weekend with his parents. Miller was recently released from a hospital stay of two months. Rev C E First is at his home south of Rittman with Rev Curtis Borden of Wadsworth delivering the message last Sunday morning in place of Rev First.

Clothing Salvage Effort Collects 1640 Lbs For Europe Relief
The Rittman Salvage Committee thanks residents for donating 1640 pounds of usable clothing for men women and children in war torn Europe.
