Colorful Cub Scout Pack Meeting at City Hall

At City Hall Tuesday evening the Cub Scouts held a lively Pack meeting with tom toms and Indian war cries. Jeffie Steiner led color bearers while Dick Gillman and Paul Bracht spoke, and six new Bobcat pins were awarded. An Indian War Dance followed a Q and A on Navajo studies. Taps closed the event as handicraft displays drew parent interest. No Pack meeting in December. dens keep regular schedules.

President Resigns from 48 Club Office

Mrs. Marge Gilbert resigns as president of the 48 Club. Mrs. Henrietta Adams, now vice president, assumes duties for the year at a meeting at Mrs. James Hile. CROP Gifts Slow Prompt Action Urged by Wayne County

Gifts to the Rural Overseas Program slowdown noted as the Thanksgiving Offering at the Union Thanksgiving Service raised 44.15 dollars for CROP, with over 60 dollars more received. Rev. Civil Defense Meeting Called in Wayne County

Mayors township trustees and other officials will gather in Wooster on Monday December 11 at 8:00 p.m. in the common pleas court room for a Wayne County Civil Defense meeting.
