About 75 stockholders and families gathered last Friday at the Schultz residence for the second annual outing. After lunch of apple dumplings pie peaches and cream and dried beef with buns and ice cream, talks by F B Haney and W K Shook highlighted progress in the 145 acre orchard development. Attendees praised the venture and an open invitation was extended to all for future visits and fruit baskets prepared by Tyr Woerickin, supervisor of the orchard.

Dan Musser Sustains Injuries After Wagon Incident Near Rittman
Dan Musser, about 70, was injured at home near Rittman Saturday while helping load a large saw onto a wagon. Frightened horses threw him under them causing abdominal injuries.
