Richard Kanehl of Rittman was named best supporting actor by his company for roles in Morning's at Seven and Arsenic and Old Lace during the Denison Summer Theater season in Granville Ohio. The actor, in his fourth season with the company, has appeared in 10 plays across 13 seasons and previously acted in 1954 1955 and 1956. In Arsenic and Old Lace he played Jonathan Brewster the demented criminal and in Morning's at Seven he played Homer Bolton the bachelor son who leans on his mother.

Surprise 60th for Robert Wenger and Alaska trip

Services Held For Two Accident Victims
Larry K. Crow and Ronald Lee Hooser, both 16 of Creston, died Friday in an automobile crash east of Creston. The 1959 death toll on Wayne County roads reached 20, matching last year’s pace. four other youths were injured. Crow’s family and Hooser’s family survive, with services held at Church of God and burial at Creston Maple Mound Cemetery.
