County to Seek 2‑Mill Road Levy in Wayne County

Poultry Plant Fire Destroys Four-Story Building
Fire destroyed the four story Petit Poultry Co. building west of Doylestown last Saturday afternoon, causing about 15000 dollars in losses including 1500 dollars worth of new machinery and 2000 Moe chickens slated for dressing. Barberton and Rittman fire units reached the scene but water supply was insufficient to halt the blaze. The firm began as a side operation ten years ago and expanded to a full time plant housed in a growing complex, though the new foundation addition remains.
