Services Held For Crash Victim James R. Snodgrass
Funeral services were conducted for James R. Snodgrass 22 of 237 North Seneca Street at Casebier Funeral Home Beaver Dam Kentucky. Snodgrass died in a two car collision east of Sterling on Route 504 when his car crossed the center line. Eugene Pamer 22 of RD 1 Burbank survived with injuries. his passengers were also hurt. Snodgrass leaves wife Edith two sons James and Jeffrey and a daughter Judy. He moved to Rittman ten years ago and worked at Packaging Corp of America. He is survived by his father Reather Snodgrass and four brothers and a sister all named in the obituary.

Suzanne Wilson, 19, of Pinewood Avenue was chosen homecoming queen over 17 candidates for a four day celebration starting next Wednesday. Attendants Corenia Thompson and Sue Mays join the parade and festivities. Wilson plans to teach elementary education after college. The parade opens the four day affair with over 90 units under Ashton Hall’s chairmanship, forming at West Hill School.

Roy Moffett of the Ohio Central Telephone Corporation says subscribers will receive new numbers in coming weeks. Business lines already changed this week with Rittman numbers starting 935 and Sterling numbers to follow. Dial systems must be in place before the new numbers work and technicians are installing dials on all new type phones.
