Second disappearance follows elopement with Clyde Conkey
Mrs. Edward Whitman packed silverware and clothing in four suitcases Monday morning in the sight of her husband and three children and went to the B and O depot to ride out of town. Her husband followed and recovered the silverware. She left town claiming she was bound for Wooster. Four weeks earlier she eloped with Clyde Conkey, returned, and was brought back by her husband about two weeks ago. Now she again deserts her husband and children and seems unlikely to return to Rittman.

Fatal Auto Accident Near Wadsworth Claims Two
John Lytle of Wadsworth was killed in a Saturday night car crash returning from Barberton. Roy Gaul, found unconscious, was at the scene when passers-by discovered the overturned vehicle east of Wadsworth. Gaul was arrested on a charge of manslaughter.
