State Auditor findings accuse Rittman of improper disbursements from July 1971 through December 1973 including 890 to the Chamber of Commerce and 60 to the Pee Wee Football League. Rittmanites Help Find Historic Fort Meigs
Rittman High School history and anthropology teacher Robert Glazier leads a team including three boys and his sons to excavate Fort Meigs near Perrysburg, Ohio. Randall Buchman of Defiance College heads the archaeology effort with advisor Dr Robert Boehm. The fourth year of digs aims to restore the 1813 fort, with public opening last week and a project cost near one million dollars funded by a bond approved by Ohio voters.
