Warwick Man Dies 45 After Stabbing Fray
A Warwick man, 45, died after a stabbing at the junction of the Baltimore and Ohio and Pennsylvania railroads near Warwick. The accused, 87, Velmarisch, is jailed on a murder charge, with witness Niles Stranaburg saying Velmarisch stabbed Franks after an exchange tied to a railroad strike. Franks, 32, a union railworker on strike, was identified by Franks as the assailant before dying at Citizens Hospital.

Wild cow attack at community sale injures repairman
Edward Burger a repairman at Rittman Service Garage suffered a broken arm when a wild cow brought from Fredricksburg to the community sale charged and toppled him. Nelson Beery sustained minor bruises as the cow resisted. the sale was postponed to a later date.

Main Street Fight Ends With Heavy Fine in Rittman
On Friday William Reiggs attacked Demetro Patronovitch on Main Street. Demetro sustained severe injuries from blows as the melee ended with Mayor Shackleford fining Reiggs one thousand dollars plus costs totaling eighteen hundred eighty dollars. Nometro filed in common pleas court for a three thousand one hundred fifty dollar judgment against Reiggs.

Altercation Report Near Busy Bee Restaurant
Mr C R Schondel and Mr F Gruver clashed last Thursday afternoon outside the Busy Bee Restaurant when Gruver rebuked Schondel for exhaling near the shop. The dispute led to a disturbance and Schendel was arraigned before the Mayor on assault and battery charges, pled not guilty, and was bound over to the grand jury under a $600 bond.
