Funeral services for Thomas Kilkline in Ohio church
Funeral services for 68 year old Thomas Kilkline of Rittman were held Saturday at 9 am at St Anne's Catholic Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery. A nephew James Fitzgerald of New York was the sole survivor and arranged the funeral.

Three Elms Planted in Front of City Hall
Three sturdy American elm trees were planted in front of City Hall Monday. The trees were donated by the Three Arts Club and stand about six feet high. The planting marks the first visible step of the Rittman tree planting project, awaiting a village council appointed tree planning commission in the fall. Heavy rain forced a postponement from Saturday to Monday.
