Kay Donna Peters Keith Rufener and Virginia Wenger of Rittman High won Superior or No 1 ratings at Otterbein College Westerville in B 2 class competition held last Saturday April 19 Kay Donna Peters baritone sax Keith Rufener tuba and Virginia Wenger baritone horn earned top ratings The Rittman High School Band directed by Lester C Eckart will travel to Westerville Saturday morning to compete in the State Band Contest The band had earned a superior rating at the Kent District Band Contest two weeks earlier granting eligibility for the state event
