Dearolf and Widener Win $5,250 Judgments
In Common Pleas Court of Judge Walter Mougey at Wooster this morning, judgments were rendered in favor of Ione Widener of Wooster, formerly of Rittman, for $5,000, and in favor of Raymond Dearolf of Rittman for $250. Both cases were against Carl Schaefer of Wooster and arose from an automobile accident on November 19, 1939 at Doylestown. Attorney C. E. Rhonemus of Ritt.

Garver Rehired As Rittman Schools Superintendent
W A Garver longtime superintendent of Rittman schools was voted a one year contract at the same salary of 3000 by the board of education in a Monday night session. The clerk noted the meeting opened with Garver absent and later informed of the unanimous vote. The session also covered rehiring all current teachers and a primed commencement program, with Gall Lance expected to resume her position after a break.
