Band and choir at state competition in Ohio
RHS band and choir perform at the Ohio Music Education Association State Band and Mixed Chorus events. The choir competes in Minerva Class C-1 Mixed Chorus at 9:50 a.m. at Mary Irene Day Elementary. The 62 member choir will sing a required piece and two more selections. The band performs at Minerva High School in Class C-1 at 2:25 p.m. with 78 musicians playing Songs of Nyasaland and two other works. Conductors are Gary Kleptach for band and Carolyn Warner for choir. Visitors welcome with no entrance charge. food and drink available in the high school cafeteria.
