Rittman announces a home talent based lineup for the season with Whitey Linn and Advin Petit backing the club. The squad will rely on last year’s core with three dependable mound options and a solid infield. Sunday home games willrestart the policy to draw local fans, with first practice next Tuesday and a Friday meeting at Petit’s restaurant.
Frank Yurik of Rogies Hollow near Doylestown is jailed as a charge is prepared after his wife accuses him of nearly severing her finger with a butcher knife. She says he attacked her while intoxicated. he says she cut her hand on a broken mirror. The couple have five children. Deputy investigated the arrest.
Bitiman Boy Scouts stage a three part event in Medina county featuring lean-to building, log obstacle race, and Stout games beginning at 7 o'clock tomorrow night. Admission is free as crowds gather from Medina and Wayne counties to enjoy the fast moving program.
Wilk appear at the Wayne County sheepmens field day to be held Thursday April 14 at the Frye Barn Experiment Station. Bartlett, holder of the record by shearing 400 sheep in one day, will demonstrate at 9 30 am. The event, open to the public, is under Wayne County Wool Growers with Prof. Bell. A junior and an adult division contest will award prizes, with entries due by April 9 to County Agent G A Dustman.

A goal is an intelligent road construction program and a new membership drive with printed pamphlets explaining auto clubs responsibilities and benefits to motorists.
The Barberton choir from Barbertan will join the Presby Church Sunday morning April 10 for the Communion service. A Easter message titled A Song of Triumph will be shared, inviting all to attend the quiet time of prayer and worship.
