The City Council orders a new registration for the upcoming elections and names registrars for each ward. It also appoints primary and municipal election judges, sets polling places from Washington Street to Jordan Street and Bellevue Hotel, and specifies registration dates from March 28 to April 28, 1921.
City Council passed a resolution calling a primary election in April 1921 and a city election in May 1921 to nominate mayor and four ward councilmen under North Carolina law. The vote recorded all members voting aye.
