The 65th Congress began December 3 1917 and has been in continuous session for over seven months. Members will take a month off for rest with only enough solons to hold required sessions. Wake County farmers suffered a severe hail storm. relief efforts include about 2000 dollars in aid and seed supplies organized with Governor Bickett’s support.
